    In 2018, after seeing Black Panther around 10 times, my brothers and I had the bright idea to organize a fan convention dedicated to the world and ideas presented in the film: Afro-futurism, tech, and Black nerdery. In just a few months, we put together a fan convention in Chicago with panels, a marketplace, and a fantastic cosplay contest!
